Job Description

What You Will Do:
Interpret data and analyse results to provide data driven insights
Work closely to define the strategy, roadmap and Implement initiatives to achieve goals
Work with product and Engineering teams to help them translating business needs to technical specifications
Provide Insights to business groups (Sales, Technology and Operations), partner with Architects to provide design data requirements
Responsible for Design, build, & deploy solutions
Guide and support teams to integrate systems
Maintain and optimise the data visualizations, self-service tools to provide actionable insights
Be an initiative in creating culture that incorporates data science, business intelligence, data analytics beneficial to business and operations
Ensure compliances with Licensing for tools
Establish analytics and decision support capabilities to make data driven decisions
Manage portfolio of BI to ensure timely delivery
Guide and ensure backup, refresh, disaster recovery methodologies
Perform data analysis and identify business trends which can used as insights
Develop and update/ prepare documentations for technical references
Integrate internal / external customer / supplier level data to measure / track customer / supplier business trends / behaviour (e.g. recency, frequency, SLAs)
Build or develop Tech Datas market knowledge with a focus on understanding available market potential and opportunity, market penetration and customer valuation models
Collect & analyse relevant pieces of customer and supplier information
Establish intuitive reporting methodologies, perform ad-hoc market analysis as required to support strategy and analyse performance
Liaise between Sales /AM, Tech, product and Operations team, as a central coordination function, to ensure all activities is directed towards areas of maximum profitable revenue.
Continuously produce actionable information for, both, Sales & Marketing in support of Retain, Develop and Acquire initiatives
Single point of contact inside the organization for end user issue escalation and resolution (knowledge gaps, defects, enhancements)
Work with all functions (i.e. IT and business) to continuously evolve Compass functionality, its local delivery and ensure the tracking and measurement of impact.
Works independently or collectively develop ideas and lead or contribute to initiatives that will support the attainment of revenue and / or attainment of market share

Industries Preferred: Air travel, Hospitality, ecommerce, Banking & Financial etc

What You Should Have:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer science, Statistics, Data Science or related
6+ yrs experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence
4+ yrs of experience in data analytics
Hands on Experience in handling BI components, SQL, MySql, Data warehouse, Tableau, Python, Alteryx
Python, SQL, Tableau and forecasting techniques, Selective and predictive modelling, R programming
Detailed attention in enhancing solutions
Experience with Multiple technology Service delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps)
Industry Experience in IT organizations for mid to large size
Effective Team Management in rapidly evolving business environment
Self-starter with ability to solve open ended business challenges
Ability to work in deadline driven, highly dynamic environment with priority changes
Financial and budget management for the team/department/vertical
Exceptional communication (Verbal & Written) regardless of audience, medium or forum
