Job Description:
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Analyze and report bugs found during tests
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Document results of tests for the software development team
- Should be able to automate test cases for Web application and API products
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
- Work together with the software development team to enhance and improve programs
Skills:
- Experience in Test Script development experience using Java or Python
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium Web driver, Cucumber
- Hands-on experience in test design and execution management, test estimation metrics, RTM implementation, test requirements and test case design, defect management
- Good Experience in API Testing
- Hands-on experience in Automation Framework Development/Maintenance
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Working knowledge in SoapUI, Postman, Swagger
- Working knowledge in Jmeter is desirable
- Strong analytical, problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 2 - 6 years of extensive experience in testing software products
- Ability to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Education
UG:B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
